In the process of designing Scotty Building. Stanley Grod brought us into his project to design the spa facility. The fun part was our design added two (2) massage rooms that the client themselves can enjoy. We increased the spa room by 30% from original. Next door was the Tony Martin Design Hair Salon, we designed and created a glass door connection to the salon and Massage Masters.

With Robert D. Henry Architects as design architect and James Heimler, Architect, Inc. as executive architect, an existing retail space on the first floor of a four-story building in the heart of Beverly Hills was completely redesigned on both the interior and exterior. This new facility serves as Dr. Obagi's medical office and a spa and retails space offering an all-inclusive health and beauty experience.
The project involved a change of use from office to medical/retail space along with a parking lot revision. We researched the history of parking issues tied to the 5-Story office building and discovered the original building and lot, developed in 1950, included parking allotments in a parking lot across the street. The need for a multi-level parking structure was omitted in favor of site parking revisions including the allotments across the street. We then worked side by side with the owner's designer to remodel the entire 1st floor and basement, which totaled 15,000 S.F. Accessibility issues, set circulation and basic floor plan due to sloping site conditions.
